Our Story

Xpress To Basketball Life With The TIY Athletic Team!

Xpress To Basketball Life With TIY X-PRESS Basketball one of the newest Midwest personal youth enrichment/skills development program serving youth of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana.

Basketball Motivation is our Motion!

Featuring a combination of league play and real life enrichment programming 365. As a 501c3 nonprofit partnering with parents and community coaches we are inspiring a new day and a new young athlete ready for the courts of life and the fast pace game of basketball.

TIY is here to coach players on that journey.

Our players gain confidence, dribble, pass and shoot, study habits, do home task, leadership skills, press, press, press.

That's not all we do, we know we would be missing a tremendous opportunity to help our players get better not only as players but, also as future leaders.

Our coaches & enrichment staff have had their lives changed by the game of basketball, and we are passionate about passing it on to every player that steps on our courts.

Our players understand that becoming great at basketball, baseball, football, volleyball, or any profession is a process. we make that process of focusing, hard work, perseverance, and patience as painless and fun as possible. Our players understand this work effort, is key to becoming great at each sport or profession of choice, which one day! they too will become very passionate about.

Welcome to the TIY way of developing the whole package for success beyond the courts.

TIY Basketball is for every player who wants to be more than just better. From day one of a player's basketball journey, we prepare each like its college draft day, or academic scholarship awards day, with the choice totally up to each, no pressure because they understand they have options regardless of decision made.

Xpress Basketball, a very intricate athletic arm of “The National Foundation of Enrichment for the Arts, Humanities, and Education, Inc., a 501c3 Non Profit organization founded in 2005 by Mr. Jackson, who set-out to develop and incorporate a community youth enrichment/athletic platform, designed to improve communities, cities, states, and finally a nation, bringing youth together at an early age by a number of common threads "sports" (basketball, volleyball, soccer, softball, or flag football), and "enrichment labs"(tutoring, learning labs, camps, seminars, big brother/sister), regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background; projecting a light of compassion for all youth from within the community while breaking down barriers, and bridging the gap that cause community separation.

Youthful forces on a mission, building one united thriving community embracing individual from all walks of life, Citizens uniting in active support of this small yet

meaningful  act designed to change cultures, and hearts, for a deeper commitment to building a stronger, richer community experience geared to fostering teamwork, ethnic understanding, diversified learning and exchange, creating a more informed community for a brighter future .

Youth understanding what makes a stronger community, while developing into stronger athletes feeding into community school athletic programs, resulting in a win, win for all; with an unwavering pride for communities rich in diversity, and heritage.

Finally a program which provides a enriching platform for our youth to master their athletic skills, and inner feeling, for total success in the classrooms, on and off the courts throughout life.

Reginald Jackson

Executive Board/Founder/CEO/Executive Director/Coach

In order to offset the current course of events TEAHE was developed by Reginald Jackson, who spent the last Twenty-three years as a member of the Illinois/Indiana business community 1989 - 2004, interacting with the residents on a regular basis providing jobs to many Adults and odd jobs and safe positive activities for its local youth after school. It was from this chain of daily events that Mr. Jackson recognized the needs of Illinois/Indiana youth were great, and beyond the reach of one person, or several organizations, beyond the city schools and limited after school programs. These Youth would need a program that would bridge their educational, personal, and recreational lives on a daily basis for many hours a day, in order to provide positive, influence on all youth, no matter the race, income, or geographical location, a program that would include all youth for a better community experience and personal exchange. XPRESS BASKETBALL was born to bring youth together as one team, with one mission, learning the game of winning, and the spirit of being positive transplants daily throughout life.

Assistant Coordinator/Coach

Growing up in a small city like Michigan City, life had brought many challenges and hardships. As a young kid I had dreams of being a basketball player as well as many others, the one difference between me and others that made it was opportunity and support. I came from a underprivileged home, but we fought and stayed together to make things happen with the Help of Jesus. I played high school ball for 4 years but I soon was faced with a ACL injury that took me out the game for a while. I soon recovered and fought to get back to the top of my game. I then went off to college, attempting  to walk on after my life changing surgery, I made the team. Shortly after! I was faced with another traumatic experience my other ACL was then torn. I thought to my self there goes my chances at being a hoop star.

Everyone gave up on me, but because of the love I had for the game I decided to go from playing the game to teaching the game I love so much. Fairly young and new to coaching, however, I have a drive to develop some of the best players in the game yet, while using my years of playing and learning to become a great coach.

My goal with “Active Youth In Motion” XPRESS is to Develop young men through mentoring and leadership not only on the courts but off as well.
